give,
7p⁴ - 14p² + 7
taking out common factor as 7,
we have
7 ( p⁴ - 2p² + 1 )
using 1st identity , i..e, (a-b)² = a² - 2ab + b²,
7 ( (p²)² - 2(p²)(1) + (1)²)
= 7(p² - 1)²
or
7(p² - 1 ) ( p² - 1 )
7p⁴ - 14p² + 7
taking out common factor as 7,
we have
7 ( p⁴ - 2p² + 1 )
