 =  \:  \: 7 {x}^{2}  - 10x - 8 \\  = 7 {x}^{2}  - 14x + 4x - 8 \\  = 7x(x - 2) + 4(x - 2) \\  = (x - 2)(7x + 4)

hope it will help u☺️

Step-by-step explanation:

7 {x}^{2}  - 10x - 8 = 0

7 {x}^{2}   - (14 - 4)x - 8 = 0

7 {x}^{2}  - 14x + 4x - 8 = 0

7x(x - 2) + 4(x - 2) = 0

(7x + 4)(x - 2) = 0

7x + 4 = 0

x =   - \frac{4}{7}

And

x - 2 = 0

x = 2
