Answer :

7x² + 4x - 20

⇒ 7x² + 14x - 10x - 20

⇒ 7x ( x + 2 ) - 10 ( x + 2 )

⇒ (x + 2)(7x - 10)

By zero product rule -

➾ x + 2 = 0

x = - 2

➾ 7x - 10

x = 10 / 7

Given that the equation :

7 {x}^{2}  + 4x - 20

On factorizing :

7 {x}^{2}  + 4x - 20 \\  \\  =  > 7 {x}^{2}  + 14x - 10x - 20 \\  \\  =  > 7x(x + 2) - 10(x + 2) \\  \\  =  > (7x - 10)(x + 2)
