Well...your question is a bit wrong ..

It should be 9-(a+b)^2

Heres the factorization:
Let 9=(3)^2

Then,

(3)^2 -(a+b)^2

(3+a+b) (3-a+b).....[putting formulae (a^2 -b^2)

Ans will be (3+a+b) (3-a-b)☆
