 {a}^{2}  + 6a + 9 \\  =  {a}^{2}  + 3a + 3a + 9 \\  = a(a + 3) + 3(a + 3) \\  = (a + 3)(a + 3) \\  = (a + 3) {}^{2}

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

the equation is a²+6a+9

= a²+6a + 9 = 0

= a² + 3a +3a +9 = 0

= a(a+3)+3(a+3) = 0

= (a+3)(a+3) = 0

⇒ a = -3
