I think your question is a^2 + 2ab + b^2
For this we directly have an identity
(a + b)(a + b).
To solve using splitting method..........
a^2 + 2ab + b^2
= a^2 + ab + ab + b^2
=a(a + b) + b(a + b)
= (a + b)(a + b) <=Answer

For factorising, you can use splitting method:-
a^2 + ab + ab + b^2
a(a + b) + b(a + b)
= (a + b) (a + b)
These are the factors.
