Answer:

3x2-4x-7=0

3x2+3x-7x-7=0

3x(x+1)-7(x+1)=0

(x+1)(3x-7)=0

x=-1 or x=7/3

\boxed{\rm{\orange{Solution\longrightarrow }}}

3x {}^{2}  - 4x - 7 \\  =  > 3x {}^{2} - 7x + 3x - 7 \\  =  > 3 x{}^{2}  + 3x - 7x - 7 \\  =  > 3x(x + 1 )  - 7(x + 1) \\  =  > (3x - 7)(x  + 1)
