a(a-2b-c)+2bc

a square - 2ab + ac +2bc

= a × a + a × c - 2ab + 2bc

take a as common

a(a-c)

take 2b as common

-2b(a-c)

=a(a-c) -2b(a-c)

(a-c)(a-2b)
