Let p = a - b and q = x + y

A/Q,
(a - b)² – (x + y)²
= p² – q²
= (p + q)(p - q)
= (a - b + x + y)[a - b - (x - y)
= (a - b + x + y)(a - b - x - y)

Hope it'll help...

geniusboy38: factorisation means writing two expressions as product of each other.

Heya mate, Here is ur answer

(a - b) {}^{2}  - (x + y) {}^{2}

a {}^{2}  + b {}^{2}  - 2ab - (x {}^{2}  + y {}^{2}  + 2xy

 {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}   - 2ab -  {x}^{2}  - y {}^{2}  - xy
