Step-by-step explanation:

4x²-4x+1=0

=> 4x²-2x-2x+1=0

=> 2x(2x-1)-1(2x-1)=0

=> (2x-1)(2x-1)=0

Therefore

2x-1=0

x=1/2

Hope it helps

 {4x}^{2}  - 4x + 1 \\ {4x}^{2}  - 4x + 1 = 0

 {4x}^{2}  - 2x - 2x + 1 = 0 \\ 2x(2x - 1) - 1(2x - 1) = 0 \\ (2x - 1)(2x - 1) = 0 \\  {(2x - 1)}^{2}  = 0 \\ 2x = 1  \\ therefore \\ x =  \frac{1}{2}  \\ hence \: l \: have \: used \: middle \:  - \\term \: technique \: to \: factorise \: the \: equation
