so factorize:

5x^2 + X - 4

( so here, we can multiply 5 × 4 which is 20, so we can do middle term factor)

= 5x^2 + 5x - 4x - 4

= ( 5x^2 + 5x ) - ( 4x - 4 )

= 5x( X + 1 ) - 4( X + 1 ) [ if the sign is - the sign inside the bracket will change]

= ( x + 1 ) ( 5x - 4 )
