Answer:

p(x)=4x³+3x²-4x-3

factors of 3=±1,±3

p(1)=4X1+3X1-4X1-3

=4+3-4-3

=7-7

=0

So,x-1 is a factor of 4x³+3x²-4x-3

4x³+3x²-4x-3/x+1=4x²-x-3

4x³+3x²-4x-3=(x+1)(4x²-x-3)

=(x+1)(4x²-4x+3x-3)

=(x+1)[4x(x-1)+3(x-1)]

=(x+1)(x-1)(4x+3). ans
