Step-by-step explanation:

Here, √2 × √2 = 2

So the middle term 2x² has to be product of two factors of 2

That is,

√2x²+ (x + 2)x + √2 [(x+a)(x+b)= x² + x(a+b) + ab]

=> √2 x (x+ √2) + 1 (x + √2)

=> (√2+1)(x+√2)
