= ( y -2 ) ( y² - 1y + 3y - 3 )

= ( y - 2 ) [ y ( y - 1 ) + 3 ( y - 1 ) ]

= ( y -2 ) ( y - 1 ) ( y + 3 )

I think the question is wrong...

It should be y^2 -7y + 6
