 {a}^{4}  - 1

How to solve ?

=> by using the identity

a^2 - b^2 =( a+b)( a-b )

Answer :-

 {a}^{4}  - 1

 = ( {a}^{2}  - 1)( {a}^{2}  + 1)

 = (a - 1)(a + 1)( {a}^{2}  + 1)

(a²)²-(1)²

Using identity:

-b²=(a+b)(a-b)

(a²-1)(a²+1)
