factorize the following expressions by splitting the middle term X sq + 11x + 24

x^2 + 11x + 24=0

x^2 + 8x + 3x + 24=0

x(x + 8) + 3(x+8) = 0

(x+3)(x+8) = 0

x = -3 or x= -8

Note:

8+3 =11 ie. the middle term

and 8x3=24 ie the product of the first and last term.
