Then by using Quadratic Formula,

$x = \frac{ - b±\sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a}$

We have,

$x= \frac{ -3±\sqrt{ { - 3}^{2} - 4 \times 1 \times - 75 } }{2 \times 1}$

$x = \frac{ - 3 - \sqrt{309} }{2} = - 7.189$

$x = \frac{ - 3 + \sqrt{309} }{2} = 10.289$

Hence the value of x is -7.289 and 10.289.
