Given Equation is a^2 + 1

The given equation can be written as a^2 + 1^2

= > we know that i^2 = -1.

Therefore, the given equation can be written as :

= > a^2 + 1^2

= > a^2 - i^2 [a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b)]

= > (a + i)(a - i)

Hope this helps!
