factorize x^2 -x+1/4

arshia53: multiply by 4......4x^2 - 4x + 1......then4x^2 -2x - 2x +1....then...2x(2x -1) -1 (2x -1).....then(2x -1)^2
ujjwal1659: use formula
ujjwal1659: b+-√b^2-4ac/2a, where a is coefficient of x^2, b is coefficient of x and c is constant term put in formula and solve it
ujjwal1659: or
ujjwal1659: (2x-1)(2x-1) then put both equal to 0 separately and x =1/2
