x^2-x-xy+y
x(x-1)+y(x-1)
=(x+y)(x-1)

➡Factorise -:: x^2 + y - xy - x

We can also write it as ,

x^2 - xy - x + y

Solution -::

x (x - y) - 1 (x - y)

Taking x common in the first group and taking -1 common in the second group.

(x - y) (x - 1) is the answer.....
