Dude it will be (x^4 - 1/4) not (x^4 + 1/4)
x^4 - 1/4
= (x^2)^2 - (1/2)^2
a^2 - b^2 = (a+b)(a-b)
= (x^2 + 1/2)(x^2 - 1/2)
