x^2+12/35x+1/35=0

=>1/35 [35x^2+12x+1]=0

=>35x^2+12x+1=0

=>35x^2+7x+5x+1=0[by splitting the middle term)

=>7x(5x+1)+1(5x+1)=0

=>(7x+1)(5x+1)=0

=>x=-1/7 or x=-1/5

Hope it helps

Given:

x^2+\frac{12}{35}x+\frac{1}{35}

To find:

Factors

Solution:

x^2+\frac{12}{35}x+\frac{1}{35}=0

\frac{35x^2+12x+1}{35}=0

35x^2+12x+1=0

35x^2+7x+5x+1=0

7x(5x+1)+1(5x+1)=0

(5x+1)(7x+1)=0

5x+1=0

\implies x=-\frac{1}{5}

And

7x+1=0

\implies x=-\frac{1}{7}
