y^3+3y^2-y-3
by putting y=1
1+3-1-3=0
thus y=1 is a root of this equation
now dividing it with y-1we have
y^3+3y^2-y-3=(y-1)(y^2+4y+3)
= (y-1)(y+1)(y+3)
by putting y=1
1+3-1-3=0
thus y=1 is a root of this equation
now dividing it with y-1we have
y^3+3y^2-y-3=(y-1)(y^2+4y+3)
= (y-1)(y+1)(y+3)
