Method 1:-

 = > 4 {y}^{2} + 9 - 12y

 = > 4 {y}^{2} - 12y + 9

Factorize it by the middle term technique/Splitting middle term technique.

 = > 4 {y}^{2} - 6y - 6y + 9

 = > 2y(2y - 3) - 3(2y - 3)

 = > (2y - 3)(2y - 3)

 = > (2y - 3) {}^{2}

Method 2:-

=4y²+9-12y

=(2y)²+3²-2×2y×3

=(2y-3)²

I used (a-b)²=a²+b²-2ab
