hello \: mate

➡x²+3x+2=0

➡x²+2x+x+2=0

➡x(x+2)+1(x+2)=0

➡(x+1)(x+2)

↪x= -1, -2

We can factorise the above equation as follows:

x^2 + x + 2x + 2

x(x+1) + 2(x+1)

(x+2)(x+1)

Therefore, x+2 and x+1 are two factors of the given expression.

Hope it helps ;-)

marcusdemantes2002: Oh i was wrong actually, x could take the values of -1 and -2 to achieve the value of zero, therefore -1 and -2 are the factors of the expression.
marcusdemantes2002: No i was wrong again. -1 and -2 are the roots of the expression, not its factors... I'm sry again
diyasd8: -1 and -2 are the Zeroes of the polynomial
