PHOTOSYNTHESIS is the process by which plants make their own food using carbon dioxide and Water in presence of sunlight and chlorophyll.
The end product is Glucose (food) and Oygen .
The factors responsible for PHOTOSYNTHESIS are -
• Sunlight - Sunlight is the supreme factor for PHOTOSYNTHESIS because it provides the energy to the plant to split the water molecules.
• Water - Presence of water is important. But in excess amount of water, plantsdo not function well.
• Carbon dioxide - The Carbon dioxide is the 3rd main factor responsible for PHOTOSYNTHESIS. It is obtained from the external environment.
