here are some factors which are responsible for soil erosion.....

1 deforestation : trees hold the soil firmly with their roots. in this way they control soil erosion.

2 shifting cultivation: this is a method in which trees were cut down down and burnt.the land was used for faming for sometime and then diccarded. its affects the soil badly

3 over grazing:cattle graze the upper layer of grass from the top layer.thus the possibility of soil erosion increases.

4 wind erosion:this type of erosion is seen mainly desert areas

5 non scientific methods of agriculture
