Answer:

Pi is a mathematical constant whose value is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter (Pi = C/d). Pi is an irrational number, meaning it cannot be referenced exactly as a fraction, but only as a decimal which never ends or repeats.

The reasonm it is called pi is because the symbol used by mathematicians to represent the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter is the lowercase Greek letter π, sometimes spelled out as pi, and derived from the first letter of the Greek word perimetros, meaning circumference.

Answer:

discovery of pi was in a village

the villager make a cart for travelling goods

but the problem was that the tyre was not perfect circle

then mathematician try to find how tyre can be a perfect circle

then One mathematician said that if a tyre is of 7 diameter and 22 circumference then it will be perfect circle

then the formula of pie =Circumference /Diametre

=22/7
