Facts are not science
we cannot compare facts to science.
as some facts may not be science
but every thing about science is a fact as it is proved.
Literature doesn't just contain words like dictionary do.
Literature has so much more but dictionary has just words.

hope it helps

Heya friend,

"Facts are not science — as the dictionary is not literature." is a line by Martin H. Fischer which is found in the science NCERT book of class tenth.

Meaning -

Some people tend to think that all the facts arise from science whereas it is not necessary that facts are always true, Fact is anything that can be proven. Similarly,a dictionary helps us to learn and improve our literature but it does not mean that learning or reading dictionary is same as learning literature.

Thank you
