Our school has recently inaugurated our new library with many modern features. Built in a spacious 1000 sqft, the library has got a collection of 7000 books altogether. There are altogether five separate sections, each named after famous writers and poets like Shakespeare, Tagore, Dan Brown, Tennyson and Paulo Coelho.
Shakespeare section is full of classic drama and sonnets. Tagore Section is a magnificent world of Asian literature including Chetan Bhagat. Dan Brown section is a grand gallery of modern fiction with special attractions such as Harry Potter, Otherwise Men, etc. The Tennyson section has a breathtaking collection of modern and classical poetry across the globe. Finally, Paulo Coelho houses a proud collection of books on religion, philosophy and theology.
There are two librarians at the reception. Once a card is issued, a student can borrow three books per week. New books will be issued only after returning old books. I love to be in this library for the very reason that it is more worthwhile to read books than wasting time on mobile phones.
