This was 18th May, 2008 when I alongwith my family members visited Taj Mahal in Agra. Seeing Taj Mahal was a dream for me that came true on this day. We went from Delhi to Agra by Taj Express & came back by UP Roadways bus. I kept on watching Taj Mahal for few minutes its beauty can not be described in words. As everybody know this building is symbol of love of a King for his wife who was not alive. It takes about 20-30 minutes to reach Taj Mahal form Agra Railway Station. This have been one of the seven wonders of the World for long time. I am sure nobody can resist him/her for saying it's wonderful.Taj Mahal at distance looked wonderful from the fort, with Yamuna at the backdrop. The next morning, I woke up early and was at the gates of Taj as early as six. But there was already a big queue and a lot of people seemed to be keen to be at Taj during sunrise. As the sun comes up, Taj appears pink and slowly turns white as the sun moves up.
I spent nearly two hour walking in and around the Taj. It was beautiful and worth its name, but somehow I found the marble work at Agra Fort more intricate and beautiful than the Taj itself.
trust me its an amazing place to see and also to have a glance of perian archtech..we went to agra when we were traveling around Uttarpradesh. I have never seen a TAJ MAHAL before in my life. We went to the gate of TAJ and found that there is a token fees to see it. And it was thursday but they told us that on every friday, there in no token fees. Which means we can visit TAJ for free if we can manage to stay and wait 1 more day. Thus we back to our hotels.
On next day, that is friday. We have left to see TAJ. And finally we have seen the most famous and considered to be one of the worlds amazing asset. It was really amazing to see it. The TAJ is really amazing and i was amazed looking at the structure and the building. The security was tight as we have expected because obviously its one of the precious thing in india.
Our guide also said us that it was fully covered with gold but all gold was robbed while india was attacked last time. But then also it was quite pleasurable to see the TAJ.
So, it was a memorable experience for me and my family. We have spent almost our whole day and left it in the evening
