Richard H. Ebright is one of the leading scientists, who had contributed significantly to molecular biology and biochemistry. He used to collect insects, shells, fossils and coins when  was a young boy. He was also an avid star gazer. He was mainly involved in butterflies, though. He made many studies, for which he won several awards, in both his school and college days. His studies were mainly on butterflies. His experiments became a milestone in the science community.

Explanation:

  • The results of failure is success. In Richard Ebright's story, you will see this. Whilst he was in high school, he was much like any other child on ordinary issues, although he earned top grades in school.
  • In his life he encountered several failures, but every failure increased Ebright's desire to achieve. He took interest in the County Sciences Fair when he was seventh grade and he participated in County Science Fair with his slides of frog tissues. However, Ebright did not win the fair
  • In his 8th grades he again took part in the science fair with the experiment of viral disease  in monarch caterpillars and won the award. This made him eager to succeed.
  • In the next year, he engaged in tests to see if Viceroy butterflies can imitate the monarch butterflies to save their lives from birds and for this Ebright won the 3rd prize at the county's general science fair
