There has been controversies that Fairy tales and fables were only for children and their entertainment purpose. Though this might be true, there are several reasons why this might be false as well. This is because, Fairy tales and fables not only provide entertainment for children but also teaches them the basic lessons of life. Let's say a child reads fairy tales, we can thus say that the moral values included in the fairy tales such as honesty, understanding, kindness and other things are already known to the child through these tales. Knowingly or unknowingly, they learn something new. Therefore these are not only for children but applies to everyone as everyone deserved to learn something new and be good to humankind.
