Hrushikesh Moolgaonkar was a former chief Marshall of Indian Airforce.  He lead the fly-pas on the independence day in 1947, as a squadron leader.  He also lead the flypast during  the  republic day in 1951.

He died in Pune and he was 95.  He was the air chief in 1976-78.
