First we need to know the required law:

Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction states that the amount of of EMF induced will be directly proportional to the the rate of change of magnetic flux.

Higher the induced EMF , higher will be the deflection in the galvanometer.

So, deflection in the galvanometer will be increased in the following cases:

  • Higher rate of change of magnetic flux.

  • Higher number of coils (n)

  • Higher value of magnetic field or area of magnetic flux in a specified time.
