If you'll join Citra you have to kill your friends then you will have be to be intimated with her then she will kill you while doing that so that she can bear the player's child
if you'll join your friends the nightmares will always haunt you so you'll come back to the island and then you can play the game afterwards like a open world game with no main objective only with additional objectives
