MY FAREWELL SPEECH TO OUR 10th CLASS 2013-14 BATCH
Good Morning Students,
I am feeling a little nervous today and I know you too are going through similar feelings. I remember those days in the first year of this millennium, in June 2001 when your parents left you at the entrance of this school and that was the first time in your life you stepped out of your house and stayed in a new place. Your steps were not complete, you needed the Teacher or Ayammas help to put that first steps into the school. You cried on the top of your voice and irritated us to the core, running in all the directions except into your classroom. It took a few days for you to adjust to the school environment; few weeks to like the teachers. Today the school, the teachers, the classrooms, the play ground have become the most adorable very close to your heart.
There is something incredible hidden in this assembly hall that made you stand at ease and also in attention position every morning for all these years. This hall gave you an opportunity to build up confidence in yourself and speak before a gathering for the first time in your life. All these years you prayed for yourself, your family, your friends and for your country. The black boards in all the classrooms you graduated through gave you a treasure of knowledge that you are carrying in your head today & passing out of this temple of learning. The classrooms were your dens, not only to take that daily dose of knowledge and wisdom, but also to all the naughtier things you did. Sometimes you could escape from the notice of your teachers and sometimes you got caught red-handed, only to get the shouting. All these parts of the school have become so close to your heart that you are feeling terrible to leave them all forever and enter a new world called college.
At times you were playful, sometimes you were in a very jubilant mood, sometimes you were naughty, some time were depressed, but your teachers took all the pains to put you in the relevant mood. It is
time you express your profound gratefulness to all your teachers. They were your Mentors, Gurus & philosophers who not only laid the roads towards your destination, but also held your hand and guided you to overcome the hurdles en route.
When you reach the top of your career don't forget your roots. Remember, in addition to your family members, your extended family, THE KENNEDY FAMILY will also be waiting to hear that interesting story of your journey through the ladder of success and appreciate you.
May you all fare well in your career
May you accomplish all those dreams you aspired for yourself.
May GOD bless you with all the strength to groom yourself into better humans.
I WILL MISS YOU ALL A LOT
GOOD BYE & ALL THE VERY BEST TO YOU IN LIFE
