14 is the the greatest common multiple of the three numbers (lengths of the ropes).

Therefore, the greatest possible length will be 14cm.

Dividing the numbers by 14, we get 10,12&15.

Adding them we get 37.

That means Farhan can get max 37 pieces of ropes of length 14cm.
