Answer:

(c) 145 acre

Step-by-step explanation:

Let, the  area of Farm A is x

According to the question,

  Farm A had an average output of 300 kgs of wheat per acre. Farm B had an average output of  350 kgs of wheat per acre. It is known that Farm B's area is 15 acres less than Farm A's.

∴ The total amount of the wheat harvested in farm B is = (350 × (x - 15)) = (350x - 5250) kgs

∴ The total amount of the wheat harvested in farm A is = (350x - 5250 - 2000) = (350x - 7250) kgs

According to the question,

      300 × x = 350x - 7250

 => 50x = 7250

 => x = \frac{7250}{50} = 145

∴ The  area of Farm A is = 145 acre.
