Answer Is, Farmer A Have 5 cows.

And Farmer B has 7 Cows.

Because,

1st situation,

(B-1)=(A+1)

(7-1)=(5+1)

=>6=6

So equal numbers.

And, 2nd situation,

(B+1)=(A-1)

(7+1)=(5-1)

so 8 = 4^2.
