farmers cultivates sugarcane and rose by using stem cutting. but all the cutting did not grow.sohan a biology student gives some points to be followed. a) can you suggest a reason for this . b) enlist the aspects that Ramesh must have given for consideration while preparing stem cuttings for propagation. c) what values are given by sohan.

★There can be Many reasons:

✔ May be cuttiing were not perfect.

✔ There can be region of Grafting.

✔ Cut The Stem of Rose and Sugarcan slightly tilt and dump into soil and provide some water,It will grow.

★Some Extra points....

✔ l think that it does not grow because the method of cutting is not correct.

✔ That for growing a sugarcane ,the stem should be cut horizontally in furrow but not upright. so that shorts of stem will start to grow from the nodes of the stem breaking For roses ,they can be grown by seeds with an equal mixture of soil and sand peatmoss.Once seedlings have obtained their second and third leaves are transplanted in garden so that they can grow.

✔ potato and chrysanthemum.

✔ The values depicted is that to grow crops proper method should be used.

Reasons :

Cutting of sugarcane and rose is not correct by stem cutting.

Stem cutting is not neccessary here because rose is shrub and sugarcane takes long period to grow


They need more water to grow.


So, stem cutting is need not needed
