farmers grow leguminous plants in between two seasons. what is the reason for this?

they grow these plants because these plants do nitrogen fixation in them and nitrogen is important for other plants which are not leguminous.When the process is going on the nitrogen is placed in the ground which is profitable for other plants

Farmers grow leguminous plants becoz there are nodes presnt in leguminous plants which has bacteria called rhizobia which helps in nitrogen fixation through which plants are able to receive nitrogen in the form of NO2-andNO3- and also amino ions and again they get converted into n2 in such process rhizobia can also help for other plants
