Farmers use quality seeds like HYV seeds to get a high yield from their crops .They adopt  better irrigation facilities to make sure that their crop or seed is supplied with enough water.Sometimes the farmers may use fertilizers or  manure if the soil does not have enough required nutrients for the healthy growth of their crops.The crop protection measures like spraying of insecticides,pesticides are done in order to protect their crop from insect,weeds,pest etc.
