Farming in which the farmers grows the crop for their own, as well as, families survival is known as Subsistence Farming. In this farmers just grow crops for local requirements, not for Surplus trade. The crops are decided by the Family according to the need of the Family and keeping in mind the prices of the crops. Subsistence Farming is mostly practiced in Developing Countries.
