answer :-

Rate of chemical reaction in general depends upon .

(a) Concentration of reactants ( except zero ordered reaction ) higher the concentration of reactants greater the rate of reaction.

(b) surface area of reactants : greater the surface area of reactant greater the rate of reaction.

(c) temperature : increasing temperature increases rate of all chemical reactions.

(d ) catalyst : addition of a catalyst increases the rate of reaction .

(e) state ( physical) of reactant Gases reacts at faster rate than liquids which in turn reacts at faster rate than solid.

◼️ Rate Law

Rate Law of a collection is the relationship between rate of reaction and concentration (amounts) of reacting species for .

aA + bB ---------> dD + eE

('a', 'b', 'd', and 'e' are stoichiometric coefficients).

instantaneous rate can be measured in terms of rate of disappearance of reactants are in terms of rate of appearance of product as :

Rate =

- 1 / a d[A] / dt = -1/b d[b] / dt = 1/d d[D] / dt = 1/e d[ E] / dt

= k [A ] ^m [ B]^ n

in equation (1) :

1 ) K is a constant known as rate constant is characteristic of the bang reaction independent of pressure volume or amount but depends upon temperature and it changes on addition of catalyst .

2 ) "m" and "n" are partial order with respect to ' A' and 'B' respectively and the overall order of reaction is ( m+ n).

3) order of a given reaction is permanent constant independent of any physical or chemical parameters .

4) order of a reaction is an experimental quantity .

hey mate here is ur answer....
YOUR QUESTION:: rate of a chemical reaction in general depends on .......?

ANSWER:: rate of chemical reaction depends on many factors like:
pressure( increasing pressure increases rate of reaction)

temperature( increase in temperature increases the rate of reaction)

concentration(increasing amount of reactants increase the rate of reaction)

state of matter( gas reacts much more faster than liquid and solid then liquid and solid reacts very slowly as compare to both liquid and gas)

HOPE.!! IT HELPS ☺️
