so ∠BAC = ∠BDC= 60°

now if we see another portion of figure there is quadrilateral EBDC which is a cyclic quadrilateral because its all vertices are on circle.

we know that sum of opposite vertices of cyclic quadrilateral is 180°

so ∠BDC+∠BEC=180°

⇒60°+∠BEC=180°

⇒∠BEC=120°
