Traits are of two type, the dominant trait and the recessive trait.
Two copies of the trait are inherited in each sexually reproducing organism. These two May be identical or different.
Therefore as both the parents have blood group A and their daughter have blood group o , her parents might have set of their gene as Ao and So where A is dominant and o is recessive. Therefore,
Ao x Ao will give you either oo or Ao. Therefore their daughter should have the set of oo gene, and so her blood group is o.
