2 and 1/2 =5/2

Let, Tahir's age be 'x'

Father's age = (x*3)

                     = 3x

After 88 years_

Tahir's age = (x+88)

                   = x+88

Father's age = (3x+88)

                     = 3x+88

By condition,

x+88=(x)*5/2

or, (x+88)*2=5x

or, 5x-2x=176

or, 3x=176

or, x = (176/3)

or, x = 58 years 8 months

Father's age = (58*3) years+(8*3) months

                     = 174+2

                     = 176 years

Then, after 88 years the father's age = (176+88)

                                                              = 264 years

Again further after 88 years, father's age = (264+88)

                                                                     = 352 years

58 years 8 months = 704 months

352 years = 4224 months

So, father's age will be (4224/704)

                                      = 6 times

(Ans): None of these.
