The other if genetics is Gregor Johann Mendel. He was an Austrian monk who wanted to be a teacher but could not as he failed the examination to be one. After becoming a monk he started experimenting with the pea plants that grew in his garden and started observing differences between every generation of pea.
he used these observations to formulate his 3 laws of genetics and thus came to be known as the father of genetics.
