let age of sons be x and y

then age of father=3(x+y)

after 6 years,

age of son's= x+6 and y+6

father's age= 3(x+y)+6

ATQ

=>3(x+y)+6=2(x+6+y+6)

=>3x+3y+6=2x+12+2y+12

=>3x+3y+6=2x+2y+24

=>3x+3y-2x-2y=24-6

=>x+y=18

father's present age= 3(x+y)=3×18

=54 years

father's age after 6 years=

3(x+y)+6=2×18+6

=60 years
